Epstein provided architectural, structural and MEP/FP engineering services to develop a conceptual design through the schematic design phase working with the developer, Gulfstream Development Services, and the contractor, Envision Contractors, LLC. This development features a 12-story structure with a mix of a hotel, residential apartments, and a parking structure, located across from the Owensboro Convention Center and the Ohio River.
The development is comprised of the Home2, a 5-story Hilton hotel with over 120 rooms and nearly 82,000 gsf. The residential tower is six stories and has nearly 80 one- and two-bedroom units. The project also includes over 240 covered parking spaces, and an indoor and outdoor amenities area that will include a fitness room, lounge areas, bocce ball, a pickle ball court and outdoor dining/grilling areas. An outdoor green retail plaza will allow for outdoor dining as well as for hosting city events and festivals.
