Epstein provided interior architectural and engineering services for a 67,000 square foot North American headquarters for a leading performance nutritional supplement provider. The space occupies the top two floors of a mid-rise office building, and the build-out includes office space, a fitness center, café, photo studio, and board room.
The design premise was to utilize many of the existing architectural elements while re-purposing and re-imagining the design to align with the organization's brand and create an exciting non-corporate environment. An emphasis was placed upon bringing in natural light and keeping the scenic views as accessible as possible.
The colors and materials were carefully selected to complement the existing porcelain flooring of the lobby space as well as the sycamore millwork panels throughout. Large scale graphics enliven the environment and create an interesting dialog within the workplace.
The custom reception desk encases two large scale monitors promoting the organization and updating employees as well. The interconnecting stair behind the reception desk utilizes large scale lighting and a refreshed soffit color as a branded visual focal point within the space.
The enclosed offices and open work areas are designed to encourage collaboration, afford seated privacy, enable flexibility and reinforce the organization's culture and brand.
