John Karlovitz

Mr. Karlovitz joined Epstein in 2013, bringing with him more than 31 years of civil engineering design and management experience. Mr. Karlovitz has developed specific expertise in project management, quality control, staff scheduling, cost control and contract preparation. During his tenure with other engineering firms, John has managed and prepared contract plans for a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects ranging in size from small studies to large, multi-million dollar developments. Mr. Karlovitz also has extensive experience working with a wide variety of federal, state and local agencies including, among others, the EPA, MWRD, DNR, Illinois Tollway and IDOT.
