WholeStone Farms Appreciation Luncheon

Last week, the Wholestone Farms team gathered at the project site in Fremont, Nebraska for a Team Appreciation BBQ. Since 2018, Wholestone has contracted with Epstein to provide overall Project Management, full Design/Engineering and Construction Management services for a number of improvement and expansion projects helping convert a former Hormel processing plant into a state-of-the-art facility. Prior to beginning our DesignBuild work, Epstein also worked with Wholestone to develop a multi-year program that is improving the plant and its operations with the goal of making the plant competitive with large, modern plants of recent construction.

This celebration was for the “topping off”, or completion, of the structures for the Rendering and Cut Floor projects.

The lunch was a thank you to the subcontractors, supervisors and tradesmen. Epstein’s Kyle Schram, Project Manager (DesignBuild), Nick Brown, Project Engineer (DesignBuild), Jonathan Zambrano, Sr. Design Engineer (DesignBuild), Sean King, Senior Design Professional (Architecture), Sam Dufree (DesignBuild), and Calvin Watson (DesignBuild) were all in attendance.

Several members of the Epstein team doubled as servers, providing each guest with a warm “thank you” as they passed through the line. The grub was you guessed it, honest-to-goodness, down home barbeque.
