We are pleased to welcome Shane Brunner, our new Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, to Epstein’s MEP group working out of our New York office! In his new role with us, Shane will be responsible for leading the MEP side of Epstein’s projects, primarily with those in New York and along the east coast. Shane started his career with ADE Group, where he was the youngest sales engineer in the company. He quickly moved onto Hazen and Sawyer and became a dedicated member of their MEP team, where he was leading the design for heavy industrial projects for water treatment plants.
Shane was born and raised in New York, growing up in Rockaway Beach in Queens and attending Xavier High School in Manhattan. He attended Santa Clara University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. Furthermore, Shane is currently an MBA candidate at New York University; he is scheduled to graduate by Spring 2022. He loves problem solving and seeing projects progress from inception to construction; it’s incredibly fulfilling for him. He says engineering checked all the boxes and he knew it was the field for him.
Outside of work, Shane loves to stay active. He ran track in high school and is very competitive. Additional sports he’s into include volleyball, softball and even the occasional dodgeball match. He used to be the captain of a beach volleyball team every summer and it’s definitely something he misses. He’s also hoping to get a dog in the near future and is willing to bet he is the best Mario Kart player that has ever walked the Epstein halls. He gladly accepts all challengers.
For his new Epstein family, Shane says he is very excited to join the team. He loves meeting new people and getting to know others, as everyone has a story. We are just as delighted to have you join us, Shane! Welcome to Epstein.
