We are pleased to welcome Sasan Naghieh, our new Design Engineer, to Epsteins civil engineering department!
Prior to Epstein, Sasan was working as a Civil & Transportation Engineer at Rubinos & Mesia Engineers. While there, he worked on multiple projects, ranging from infrastructure to aviation, and was responsible for the demolition, drafting, cost estimation and cross-sectioning of OHare Airports Runway 9R-27L extension project.
Sasan graduated from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran with a Bachelors degree in civil engineering. He then proceeded to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) to obtain his Masters in transportation and highway engineering. While studying for both degrees, Sasan was ranked as the first in class student among all those who started the program at the same time. Congratulations!
Sasan is originally from Isfahan, a city in central Iran, known for its Persian architecture.
Outside of work, Sasan is an avid bicyclist. One time he biked the entire city of Manhattan; another time he biked a causal 60 miles to the Botanical Garden. Light work. He also casually plays the piano occasionally and loves to ice-skate, travel, camp and play tennis.
Additionally, Sasan enjoys comedy shows and going to see humorous plays. Send suggestions his way!
Once again, welcome to Epstein, Sasan. We are thrilled to have you join us!
