We are pleased to welcome Ryan A. Leodoro, our new Business Development Manager, to Epstein! Ryan joins our BD & Marketing team, where her core responsibilities will be to lead business development efforts in the public sector. In this role, she’ll be identifying, researching and leading pursuits with civic clients and projects.
Ryan has more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry, with the last several years focused on business development endeavors. Prior to joining Epstein, Ryan served as the director of business development at Burling Builders, Inc. While there, her roles varied to include document control, project coordinator and engineer, and estimator. In recent years, she was responsible for managing and developing activities to create and maintain long-term client relationships with high-level clients and community stakeholders.
It was actually a fluke that Ryan ended up in the construction industry. Throughout high school, she worked at a neighborhood window and siding company. Starting off as a telemarketer and then becoming the office manager gave her the opportunity to handle nearly all of the day-to-day operations. From there, she moved into a role of a construction coordinator at a developer’s office and, subsequently, moved onto larger construction companies and projects, such as a children’s hospital and downtown interior office upgrades.
For school, Ryan attended Dawson Technical Institute and earned her Associates degree in construction management. Having grown up on the south side of Chicago in Bridgeport, Ryan attended Queen of Peace High School in Burbank, which has since closed. Her and her husband Michael, who is a chief engineer at Sterling Bay, currently live in the south suburbs.
Outside of work, Ryan loves to spend time with family and watch her 16-month-old daughter, Olivia, explore! She also loves to cook and host get togethers. What else should we know about her? She is driven by challenge and loves that no day is ever the same.
Once again, welcome to Epstein, Ryan! We are all anxious to meet you.
