We are pleased to welcome one of two summer interns, Raven Ramsey, to Epstein! Raven joins us as a construction intern and will primarily be working with our DesignBuild group, where she will be responsible for helping manage submittal tasks for the Newly Weds Foods processing plant in Chicago.

Raven is currently a junior at Eastern Illinois University (go Panthers!) studying construction management and earning a minor in business administration. In addition to her studies, Raven is also the treasurer of the EIUs Construction Club and played a part in the student investment society. Additionally, she was an RA for the past year and earned the Student of the Year award! After graduating, she hopes to land a job within the construction industry, where she can gain expertise that will lend itself to allow her to one day manage her own jobsite.

Raven participated in the ACE Mentor Chicago program her senior year of high school. Throughout that experience, she fell in love with the idea of seeing a design being brought to life and wanted to become a part of that process. Side note: Raven was also the very deserving recipient this past March of a major scholarship that the Foster Epstein Moreno Joint Venture awarded to ACE Mentor Chicago Alumni.

She grew up on the south side of Chicago and attended high school at Muchin College Prep. Outside of work, Raven loves to read, hang out with friends and family, and partake in some binge watching on the weekends. Any good recommendations for us, Raven?! She is also slightly obsessed with roller coasters; in fact, riding them is her favorite summer-time activity. Shes big into nature, traveling, and seeing the world. Fun fact: she spent her 17th birthday in China.

Once again, we are thrilled to bring you aboard this summer and cant wait to see what you accomplish with us as well as beyond graduation!
