We are pleased to welcome Mo Neishapouri, our new Project Manager, to Epstein’s Civil Engineering department! Mo will primarily be responsible for leading Epstein’s various transportation and airfield aviation-related projects and assuring high-quality deliverables. Mo’s past experience includes working as a tunnel engineer for seven years in Iran as well as a transportation engineer and manager for various firms. His most recent role was the transportation and aviation department lead for David Mason & Associates.
Mo received his B.S. in civil engineering and his M.S. in geotechnical engineering from Iran, where he was born and raised. He also obtained his PhD in civil-transportation engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mo has been a builder since he was very young; he used to put things together to make them look like a bridge, tower or other types of structures. This inspired him to pursue civil entering.
As we mentioned, Mo grew up in Iran; he immigrated to the U.S. when he was 30-years-old. Outside of work, Mo is pretty active. He works out 4-5 times a week and enjoys running 10Ks. He used to compete in martial arts and wrestling. Interesting enough, Mo was selected as a member of the Iranian National Youth Wrestling team at the age of 17. He also plays a Persian instrument called a setar, which is a stringed instrument, a type of lute. Mo also likes to have fun in kitchen and cooks some rather impressive Persian food, according to his wife who had no idea what Persian cuisine consisted off prior to meeting Mo. Mo and Nicole have two young children, Hannah, who is nearly two, and Liam, who is just six weeks! They also have Siah, their dog.
What should his Epstein family know about him? Mo is a team player. He enjoys talking soccer (see Noel Abbot for all your soccer-related needs), wrestling and other sports. He’s a big dog lover. And he will never say no to a cup of coffee or tea, but, especially, bourbon!
Once again, welcome to Epstein, Mo!
