We are pleased to welcome Kyle Schram, our new Project Manager, to Epstein’s DesignBuild group!

Kyle grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, which is about halfway between Detroit and Chicago. He then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and studied architecture. He has always had an interest in buildings and, consequently, doesn’t have the stomach for medicine. So, easy choice there. Kyle actually visited Chicago for a weekend after one of his senior studio projects, which was a proposed hotel on a site in Hyde Park, and, from that point on, Kyle wanted to move to Chicago. Interesting fact: The exact site is where Solstice on the Park by Studio Gang was built a few years later.

For fun, Kyle enjoys playing golf and heading back to Michigan to his family’s cottage (when it’s warm out, of course). He also likes to spend time with him fiancé and their chocolate lab, Louie! And, every year, Kyle and the guys take a trip to a different national park around the U.S.
