We are pleased to welcome Kelly Van Eaton, our new Specifier, to Epstein! Kelly joins our Architecture group, where he will be responsible for coordinating specification production across all disciplines.
Kelly, who is a licensed architect in the states of Illinois, New York and Wisconsin, previously worked for Greeley and Hansen Architects. There, he was focused on CA services and project management. Of what led him to pursue this industry, Kelly says he has always liked being around people who build things, adding, They are doers, problem solvers, and endlessly interesting.
He attended Auburn University (go War Eagles!), receiving a Bachelor of Architecture in 1995. As an Arch major, Kelly states that in itself counted for the extracurricular activities. All of them, in fact. During his third year, however, he was in the first group of students in Rural Studio in Greensboro, Alabama. Oh, and he also attended a whopping total of one Auburn football game.
Kelly grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and attended the cleverly named Lafayette High School. Outside of work, he likes to tinker on the guitar from time to time. You may also find him writing a short story here and there. He reads when he can and is an avid music fan of all types. His special talent includes being able to cook a great meal out of anything that might be hanging out in the fridge. Kellys weekends are typically spent with his lovely partner chasing a four-year-old and hounding a 15-year-old to do their dang homework already.
He can also bowl left and right handed. Impressive.
Once again, welcome to Epstein, Kelly! We are thrilled to have you join us.
