We are pleased to welcome Jonathan Zambrano (back) to Epstein! Prior to joining the Industrial Process Engineering (IPE) department as a full-time Design Professional, Jonathan spent the last two summers working here as an intern in the IPE group.
In his new role, his primary responsibilities include creating various simulations to assist in the validation of designs for different manufacturing settings. He will also be acting as a support for the department with Revit modeling and equipment coordination for projects.
Jonathan attended the University of Missouri (go Tigers!), where he studied industrial and manufacturing systems engineering. While there, he also worked as a treasurer on the executive board for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. But wait, theres more! Jonathan also participated in the Global Brigades organization, which gave him the opportunity to travel to Honduras to assist in the engineering of a clean water system.
Growing up, I was always interested in how various things were made and put together. Working here at Epstein gives me the opportunity to continue to explore that interest, Jonathan said. This field is relatively new to me, which is fascinating because no two projects are exactly the same. Additionally, I enjoy the challenge that comes with working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects in a team setting.
Jonathan grew up in Mokena, Illinois and attended Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling. In fact, after completing his college degree, he took some time to explore Texas and Arizona. He also likes to pass free time by drawing. Jonathan is a fan of playing basketball and soccer, and enjoys attending live sports events. His favorite teams are the Bears, Hawks, Bulls and White Sox. Solid line up. Oh, and his Missouri Tigers, of course.
We are delighted to welcome you to the Epstein family in your new role, Jonathan!
