We are pleased to welcome Jimmy Valentine, our new assistant field manager within our construction group, to Epstein. Jimmy, a lifelong Iowan, is currently working on our massive 650,000 square foot, $240M new pork processing plant for Prestage Farms in Eagle Grove, Iowa.
Jimmy comes to us from Gray Construction where he worked on a 400,000 square foot amino acid manufacturing facility for CJ Bio America in Fort Dodge, Iowa as well as a 50,000 square foot production plant for Otsuka Chemical in Griffin, Georgia. In addition to these two projects, Jimmy has also worked on facilities for Mercedes-Benz in Vance, Alabama, DAA Draexlmaier Automotive of America LLC in Duncan, South Carolina and ATI Metals in Monroe, North Carolina.
Construction has played a significant role in Jimmys life as hes always been involved in some facet of building, and in fact, his godparents owned an excavating and tilling operation that was very influential in his ultimate decision to become a construction professional.
When not building, Jimmy spends his time with his two sons, William (19) and Marcus (17), who he says are his pride and joy. With William, Jimmy enjoys powerlifting and with both he loves to fish. Jimmy also is an avid Harley rider and loves to spend time with his friends and extended family, including his wonderful great-nieces and nephews.
Lastly, Jimmy is a diehard fan of the Vikings (well ignore that Jimmy) as well as Red Sox (Jimmy, never heard of them), but he does say that hell occasionally cheer for the Cubs (thats better Jimmy, although you arent Eddie Haskelling us are you?).
Once again, welcome to the family Jimmy and best of luck on Prestage!
