We would like to welcome to Epstein Hisham Odish, our new Global BIM* (Building Information Modeling) Strategist. Hisham has nearly 16 years of AEC industry experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, energy analysis software and database programming. Prior to joining Epstein Hisham was the director of BIM and technology for the Chicago-based RTM Engineering Consultants, where he lead their firm-wide BIM initiatives and developed BIM/CAD drafting standards and procedures.

At Epstein, Hisham will be responsible for the creation, deployment and implementation of our firm-wide cohesive BIM strategy, a plan that will seek to unify, enhance, improve and adjust our existing BIM competencies. As our Global BIM Strategist Hisham will also be responsible for implementing education & training for BIM in its various forms, helping set-up projects to use BIM effectively through BIM Execution plan development and leading the creation, implementation and enforcement of firm-wide standards. In addition, Hisham will evaluate, recommend and assist in procurement of BIM related software, develop global BIM strategy in conjunction with our executive management and push for expanded BIM service offerings, and lastly, to help educate our new and existing clients with our BIM capabilities.

Besides working for RTM, Hisham has also worked for Jensen Hughes as a BIM/CAD Manager and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, as their MEP Digital Design Coordinator/BIM Manager.
