We are pleased to welcome Don Whaley, our new Field Manager, to Epstein!
With over 45 years experience in the construction industry, Don is knowledgeable in all aspects of the field, including: craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, cost and schedule control, and safety required on the project site.
Prior to coming to Epstein, Don held the Superintendent role at Gilbane Building Company. While his primary responsibility was to oversee total construction efforts and ensure projects were constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule, he also planned and managed all onsite functions.
Some of his most noteworthy projects are: The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota County, Florida, the Wayne County consolidated jail facility in Detroit, Michigan, and the Blythe Energy project in Blythe, California.
Since joining our Construction Group, Don has primarily been working on the 650,000-square-foot pork processing plant for Prestage Foods of Iowa in Eagle Grove, Iowa.
Having grown up in Haborcreek, Pennsylvania, Don attended Harbor Creek Senior High School. In his free time, he enjoys getting one with nature by golfing and fishing. He also raises and trains horses!
Great to have you with us, Don!
