We are pleased to welcome Deborshi Das, our new Senior Design Engineer, to Epstein’s MEP engineering department! Deborshi will primarily be working on designing plumbing and fire protection systems, conducting site visits and providing construction administration services out of our New York City office. He has previously worked at a couple different companies in New York City, focusing on high-rise residential, commercial and infrastructure projects such as airports.

Deborshi grew up in Monmouth County, New Jersey and attended Manalapan High School. He then proceeded to study mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a specialization in heat transfer and fluid flow. While there, he was also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) organization. Deborshi has always been interested in learning how things work, and figuring out how systems fit together. As such, he enjoys MEP engineering because he gets a sense of satisfaction in seeing the finished product being built.

Outside of work, Deborshi enjoys reading books, especially science fiction. He also likes to travel, go hiking with friends and has recently been getting into gardening as well! He loves learning new things, meeting new people, and gaining new experiences.
