Epstein is pleased to welcome Anna Mui, our new Design Professional in the Interior Design Department! Since joining us, Anna has primarily focused on various office renovation and improvement projects at 55 W. Monroe.
Prior to bringing her talents to Epstein, she was a design intern in Cincinnati, OH. She is proud of a large installation, Synergia, she designed in collaboration with a partner. It was designed for Exhibit Columbus, a biennial in Columbus, IN., celebrating architecture, art and design. The installation was located next to Eero Saarinens North Christian Church from July 2017 to March 2018 and was recently moved to a location at Indiana University.
And that brings us to where Anna attended school¦ Indiana University (go Hoosiers!), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
I have always been very aware of how much my built environment affected me, Anna said. From there, I developed a natural curiosity and I wanted to learn more about buildings, interiors and how my designs could have an impact on the daily lives of other people.
Anna was no stranger to Indiana, having grown up in the small town of Marion. She is now a new resident of Chicago, having just moved here in September. Anna is really enjoying experiencing Chicagos (oh so large) food scene and is taking must-try restaurant recommendations! One of her new favs? Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba for tapas!
She also likes to get her craft on. Crocheting, painting, origami and other paper crafts are some of her favorites, though she is hoping to learn about wood working next.
Welcome again, Anna! We are happy you are here!
