We are pleased to welcome Alex Angeles, our new IT Specialist, to Epstein’s Corporate Services team! Since joining, Alex has been tackling the day-to-day IT-related tasks and helping to analyze the network infrastructure on the backend. Interestingly enough, Alex’s past experience includes frequent onsite visits to several architecture and engineering firms, Epstein included, providing application and document solutions support. He has always admired AEC-related projects, including the people behind the designs, and wanted to work alongside them.

Prior to joining the team, Alex worked for several managed service providers as a senior IT specialist. He has been responsible for the onboarding and support of network systems for small to mid-size companies within the Chicagoland area.

Alex was born and raised on Chicago’s north side, though he also lived in the Philippines in the 80s to learn the culture and language.

In his free time, Alex enjoys exploring the Chicago area in search of hidden gems, such as coffee shops and new places to eat. He also is into street photography, capturing candid timeless scenes of characters and the city’s many architectural offerings. Alex also DJs for fun and likes to go digging for classic music on vinyl from record shops and thrift stores whenever possible.

Some fun facts about Alex: He has an identical twin brother and a 7-year-old son who is showing signs of becoming a future programmer.
