Staffing Initiative Committee: 2022 Pie Bake-Off

Epstein’s New York and Chicago offices put their best pies forward this afternoon for the Staffing Initiatives Committee’s Bake-Off!

In New York, it was Architects versus Engineers going head-to-head in a vote for their top pie. The Engineers walked away with most points and bragging rights, but it was Paul Sanderson, Director of Operations, that claimed the best pie: a lemon buttermilk pie with saffron!

Over in Chicago, four departments brought their "A" game with pies covering sweet to savory. The top prize went to the Civil group with a chocolate cream pie with graham cracker crust. We had a tie for second place between Interiors and Corporate Services: the former also gave us a chocolate cream pie, but with a traditional crust; and for fans of a savory bite, the latter whipped up a chicken potpie. In third place. The MEP group reminded us we still have some summer left with a peach cheesecake.
