Created in the late 1950s, this graphic shows what a complete Epstein-designed and engineered city could look like, including: places to live (Twin Towers and Chestnut Towers), where to enjoy entertainment (International Amphitheatre), manufacture and distribute products (Raytheon, Chicago Steel, Fansteel and Atlas), process and distribute food (Louis Milani and Albert Pick), visit a doctor (Mount Sinai Hospital and Michael Reese), print newspapers (I.S. Berlin) and work for world-class companies like Jewel Tea, Walgreens and Epstein.
Epstein projects shown clockwise from upper left: Jewel Tea Headquarters, I.S. Berlin Press Manufacturing Plant, Chicago Steel Service Company Production Plant, Congregation Rodfei Zedek, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Twin Towers Apartments.
