Coming in at #8 in our Centennial Year Countdown of our Top 100 Projects, is a 2.4M square foot mixed-use development called the Zlote Tarasy located in Warsaw, Poland.
Epstein was the architect of record working with the design architect, The Jerde Partnership International, Inc., for this mixed-use development. Zlote is located on a site adjacent to the Central Railway Station of Warsaw and consists of a multiplex cinema, multi-level retail (including restaurants, service, and department stores), a high-rise office building and a 1400-car underground parking space.
The Zlote Tarasy features one of the largest glass roofs in the world comprised of hundreds of pie-shape wedges and the first Hard Rock Café in Central Europe.
The facility attracted over 12 million visitors during its first year, which helped further stimulate development in Warsaw's central business district.
