We are pleased to announce the promotion of L. Randall (Randy) Buescher, AIA, to Epsteins Director of Client Services.
In addition to maintaining his role as the firms Senior Vice President, in this new position, Randy will also be serving as Epsteins project executive and business development leader in our commercial, corporate and convention endeavors, which includes projects in office, residential and mixed-use market sectors. Furthermore, Randy will now be Epsteins representative for a number of professional organizations and affiliations, such as the Chicago Building Congress (CBC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
For the past four and a half years, Randy has served as our Director of Architecture and continuously acted as a strategic and creative leader, overseeing the architectural department. He also led the direction for several of Epsteins largest projects, including the program development of the new expansion to New Yorks Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, a multi-facility program for Peoples Gas & Light in Chicago, and new entertainment centers for KidZania in Oakbrook, Illinois and East Rutherford, New Jersey. Randy is also, and will remain, heavily involved with Epsteins New York office, continuing his co-managing responsibilities there.
Prior to joining Epstein, Randy was the Vice President and Practice Leader of International & Regional for HOKs Chicago office. While there, he was tasked with winning commissions, acting as the principal-in-charge, and administering project management, delivery and design.
Additionally, Randy continues to be an active board member for Chicagos Glessner House Museum and ACE Mentor Chicago.
