We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rosemarie (Rosie) Andolino to Epstein’s board of directors effective March 2021, bringing the number of board members to eight.
Rosie is a proven executive in both the private and public sector. She currently serves as an independent board member and advisor to various for- and not-for-profit organizations, including the Chicago Parking Meters, LLC, FetchyFox, Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, JDRF Illinois, and recently completed a four-year appointment for the U.S. Department of Transportation National Advisory on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure. Ms. Andolino also served as the chairman of MAG USA and CEO of International Development for the Manchester Airport Group (MAG) Group, UK, where she oversaw the development of MAG’s North American and global airport services business. During her time as CEO of MAG USA, Ms. Andolino took the company from a U.S. startup to a formidable leader in the airport services business.
Ms. Andolino’s distinguished 24-year career in public service includes serving as the commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation and the $8B O’Hare Modernization Program. During that time, she was a leader in sustainability for both vertical and horizontal design and construction. Rosie was also noted for the creation of the Airports Going Green Industry Conference.
Prior to that, she served as the first deputy commissioner at the Chicago Department of Planning and Development. As a Chicago native, she has extensive experience and valued relationships in government, aviation and public infrastructure industry.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rosie to our board of directors,” said Tom Smiles, Director of Engineering. “The addition of Ms. Andolino complements our board of directors’ skills and experiences, and we are confident she will provide valuable perspectives as Epstein continues to execute our strategy, drive profitability and enhance the value for all of Epstein’s shareholders and clients.”
Jim Jirsa, Executive Managing Director, added, “We welcome the opportunity to continue this relationship. On behalf of everyone on the board of directors, we are excited to see how Ms. Andolino can support our ever-evolving organization.”
Epstein’s board regularly evaluates its composition to ensure it includes the appropriate skills, experience and perspective necessary to drive growth for all of Epstein’s endeavors. In a continuing effort towards gender parity, Epstein is delighted to add more female representation to its board. We have made significant strides to increase the number of women not only in the boardroom, but also within our firm; resulting in a more than 35 percent U.S. female workforce. While this is a noteworthy increase over industry standards, we are routinely striving to improve our gender diversity.
