This past Thursday, December 7th, our Bucharest office was the recipient of CIJ Journals Award for Best Architectural Firm for 2017. The CIJ Awards, which are the longest running commercial property awards event in Romania, are chosen by European real estate executives and the editors of CIJ Journal, a leading online European Real Estate news provider. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Romanian CIJ Awards program and this edition was attended by 350 members of the Romanian Real Estate community within the main ballroom of the Radisson Blu in Bucharest. In all, there were 28 prizes awarded with record-numbers of nominations in each category.

Epstein was selected for our overall design work in Romanian which includes the very visible Bridge Office Building. The Bridge is a speculative office development comprised of two building that are being constructed in separate phases. Phase I, which is roughly 31,948 square meters of gross leasable area, was completed earlier this year. Accepting the award on behalf of Epstein was Nicole Sommer, our business development manager and Geo Bitca, our operations director. It should also be noted that our client for the Bridge Building, Forte Partners, won for Best Office Developer of the Year as well!
