For the next few days we are a featured exhibitor (Booth #B4462) at the 2017 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) an exhibition that brings together more than 1,200 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center. IPPE is hailed as the largest annual expo for the poultry, meat and feed industries. As part of our participation in IPPE, we are offering visitors an opportunity to see how Epstein is utilizing Virtual Reality (VR) technology to help our clients make better informed decisions about their facilities during the planning and design phase.
Epstein's industrial process engineer, Jeff Beran, demonstrating VR, as well as showing off some pretty snazzy socks!
Over the past year our engineers have been using VR to help our clients experience their facility before we build it. Through these interactive 3D walking tours we have helped expedite design development, improved design quality and constructability, reduced change orders, and improved plant safety and operability.
At IPPE, our engineers are demonstrating a VR tour of a typical meat processing plant. So if you are attending IPPE and would like to experience how VR can help in the planning and design stage please visit us at Booth #B4462 & if you are not at IPPE and you would still like to learn more about how we are utilizing this exciting design tool, feel free to contact Darrin McCormies, our director of industrial process engineering, at (312) 429-8411 or dmccormies@epsteinglobal.com.
