We are delighted to share that Epstein's Romanian office has been named the Architectural Firm of the Year in the CIJ 2020 Awards!
The CIJ Awards are the longest-running commercial property awards event in Romania and have evolved continuously over the past decade to keep pace with changes in local, regional and international property markets.
The awards took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in central Bucharest last week in front of the market leaders in real estate. With 138 exceptional nominations, guests came to hear the verdict on who would become a CIJ award winner.
Nicole Sommer, the Business Development Manager of our Romanian office, accepted the award on Epstein's behalf.
Across all of our office locations, Epstein's architecture teams are keeping busy with several high-profile projects. Some of these include:
- Dedeman, a multi-phased mixed-use development in Bacu, Romania, for which Epstein is providing full-service design and engineering services
- The Bridge, which is an approximately 855,000-square-foot speculative office development located in the Orhideea district of Bucharest. For this project, we provided architectural design and full-service engineering services, including concept design, permitting and technical documentation
- The Silk District, a 3 million-square-foot mixed-use development in Iași, Romania. Dubbed the "benchmark for future investments in Romania," it features 1 million square feet of office space, 1.35 million square feet of mid-rise residential, including 2,500 units and 750,000 square feet of retail, student housing, a 160-key hotel, fitness facilities, a private medical facility, and a Pre-K school
Now in its 13th year, the ceremony was transformed from its original gala plans to a smaller event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was aired on the evening of Dec. 3rd to the CIJ EUROPE subscriber audience.
The CIJ Awards 2020 jury was comprised of leading real estate professionals, representing 39 percent of votes, and a selected top industry real estate management committee and the CIJ editorial team in the form of three prestigious jury committee groups holding 61 percent of the vote.
Thank you to the Construction & Investment Journal for this wonderful recognition and award!
