Poland has undergone substantial growth and development over the past several decades, progressing into a now bustling democratic state, and our Warsaw office has played a major role this evolution. Today, our Warsaw office is comprised of architects and engineers, who have been involved in numerous high-profile office, residential and mixed-use developments that grace Warsaw's skyline. Lucky for us in Chicago, two of our Polish colleagues have paid us a visit from the other side of the Atlantic!
Please join us in a very warm welcome to Katarzyna Jonczyk-Staszewska (Kasia) and Paweł Jannasz! Kasia is a Design Architect in our Architecture Studio, and Pawel is an HVAC Designer in the MEP group and both will be working out of our Chicago office for five weeks.
Collectively, they are working on various office space projects including the Senatorska 18 Building and The Form in Warsaw, Poland. Pawel is also working on the Navy Pier FlyOver Chicago project.
If you are curious what brought our visitors to Chicago, Pawel had never been to the United States and Kasia was interested to work in an American office and to meet new people. They both have a few activities in mind as far as sightseeing goes, and what better place than beautiful Chicago. On the list: An architectural boat tour, the Hancock Building and Willis (always Sears!) Tower, Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park and a Bulls game at the United Center.
“It was always my dream to visit Chicago because it is Michael Jordan’s city,” Pawel said. You bet is!
Again, welcome to our home Kasia & Pawel. We are so excited you are here!
