The Epstein Community Foundation started a new summer initiative to provide "Summer Survival Kits" to children and adults in need. Epstein employees had the opportunity to donate directly to this effort through Amazon wish lists, and we are so proud of what was accomplished. In total, ECF donated:
- 50 kits containing items such as chalk, bubble wands, activity books, and sunscreen to SOS Children's Village of Illinois, an organization providing foster care resources in Chicago.
- 50 kits containing items such as shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, socks, rain ponchos, and puzzle books to The Night Ministry, a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide aid to those who are unhoused or experiencing poverty.
Both organizations were extremely grateful for the donated kits. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and made this possible.
