This past Friday (October 24th) Epstein was the proud recipient of three design awards from the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The awards were announced during Design Night, a yearly gala that the AIA Chicago hosts at Navy Pier in which juried awards are presented in 4 categories for design excellence Architecture, Interior Design, Divine Detail and Un-Built projects.
We were honored for our interior design work for an expansion to the Chicago headquarters of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, for our architectural services in the renovation and expansion of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, and lastly, our director of design, Andrew L. Metter, FAIA, was honored with a design excellence for an Un-Built projects for his pro-bono design of a proposed replacement Cathedral in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Representing Epstein at this event were our executive managing director, Michael Damore, AIA, Mark Fischer, LEED AP, Linda Kanoski, AIA, LEED AP, Mihaela Ianev-Cajigas, LEED AP, and Andrew L. Metter, FAIA. Congratulations go out to all Epsteiners involved in helping make these projects grand examples of the design capabilities of the Epstein organization!
