Earlier this week, the construction scaffolding was completely removed from the Epstein-designed and engineered Astoria Premium Offices in Warsaw, Poland. Astoria's eye-catching glass, steel and rock façade was finally visible and, mirrored in its tilted windows, are reflections of iconic Warsaw buildings, such as the Palace of Culture and Science and the Emil Wedel Tenement House.
Astoria, which is strategically located between Warsaw's Old Town and business district, is a ¬75M ($94M), 28,000 square meter (300,000 square feet), 11-story Class A office and retail building. This building features a flexible and efficient office concept. The Astoria, which will pursue LEED-NC Gold certification, will have an LED lighting system, automatic internal and external blinds, and a concrete core cooling to control room temperature that will significantly lower operating costs in comparison to traditional office developments. The top floors of Astoria offer office space with access to green terraces featuring an exceptional view of the National Stadium in Warsaw. Additionally, the Astoria, which is being developed by STRABAG Real Estate, will also provide an underground parking garage capable of housing nearly 100 cars.
Astoria's project completion and the building's occupancy permit are expected to be in place at the beginning of this summer. Therefore, stay tuned for more revealing and eye-catching Astoria images in just a couple months!
