On April 10th Epsteins director of construction operations, Aleisha Jaeger, served as a panelist at DePaul Universitys Dreihaus College of Business Department of Real Estates 11th Annual Collegiate Real Estate Conference. Students from eight universities including Cincinnati, DePaul, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Notre Dame, Marquette and Roosevelt attended this event. Aleisha was a panelist in a breakout session of the Conference that focused on Real Estate Development.
During this breakout session Aleisha gave the students a brief overview of her background and role at Epstein. This intro was followed by an open discussion that encouraged students to ask questions of Aleisha and to learn more about real estate development career opportunities as well as to get advice about their next professional steps.
The students asked Aleisha and her fellow panelists questions like:
¢ What does it take to be successful in that career?
¢ What will they do when they first start working and what is the typical career path?
¢ What can they expect in terms of compensation?
¢ Are there professional organizations / designations that they should pursue?
Aleisha thoroughly enjoyed her time at the conference which was co-sponsored by one of the professional organizations that Aleisha is an active participant within CREW Chicago.
