53rd Annual Epstein Employee Appreciation Dinner

Yesterday, February 22nd, was Epstein's 53rd Annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon which this year, for the first time, was a Dinner. This Epstein event, which first took place in 1964, is where we honor those members of our organization that have achieved significant years of service milestones. This year our new format dinner took place at La Scarola, a restaurant serving classic Italian comfort food, located at 721 W Grand Ave., just a short walk from our Chicago headquarters.

Employees honored this year included Yan Weng, PE and Deraa Dike, who celebrated 5 years with Epstein. Achieving 10 years of service were Nicole Cavanaugh, Bill Cihon, Chris Macko, & Ben Reber. (Ben we love you and all of us are thinking of you! Stay strong brother!)

Virginia Knight, our senior administration assistant, and Janusz Lichocki, our president and director of our Warsaw office, celebrated 20 years with Epstein. Our executive managing director, Mike Damore, AIA, as well as Dave Hilty, PE, our civil engineering project manager, and Judy Sells, our senior administrative assistant were honored for their 25 years at Epstein.

And lastly, but certainly not least, Barbara Herbst, our senior accountant, celebrated her 35 years with Epstein!

All in all everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event as we took some much deserved time to honor our fellow employees for their years of dedicated service to Epstein.
